Deer Hunters
I just wanted to write a few lines and wish all my brothers in the outdoors a very happy, safe and successful deer hunt this season. A lot of people are getting ready and on the road already to camp.
I hope you knock a BIG BUCK down! May all your dreams come true. I will be out of commission for a week so wish me luck as I try to bag a big buck and take a break from fishing.

Got Steelhead!
Well my fellow Metalheads the Manistee River was good to us once again this weekend. On Friday we went 7 for 10! On Saturday which was slower due to the weather patterns changing, we went 3 for 4.
However, I did manage to catch a Master Angler Award Steelhead on Saturday which is always cool.
Last week while on the Grand it was spawn under a float or bottom bouncing getting the rods bent. This weekend we bottom bounced and float fished spawn with no luck. It was either a bead or a plug for us, that did the trick. No swinging with the Spey Rod, sorry.
Steelhead fishing is such an important past time to me. I can't ever imagine not fishing for Chrome. I would like to thank Fred and Andy for fishing with me this weekend. I had a blast guys! Can't wait to do it again and hope to see some of you on the River.

Really Big
Greetings fellow Metal Heads!
I hope all is well and your done stealing your children's Halloween Candy? You know its true! I'm so excited to be fishing this weekend. I will be fishing in another River Angler of the Year Tournament. Only 2 tournaments left and I'm close to wrapping it up this year as the winner!
That's exciting of course and I'm happy to be a part of it. But what I'm really excited about is the SIZE of the FEESCH this year. They are Tanks! My personal Michigan best is 15 pounds 8 ounces. This is the year for a big one, I hope? Is this going to be your year too! Feel free to comment below.

FRESH CHROME!
As promised I thought I would share today's trip. We cut it short for the Michigan and Michigan State game. My son and I landed 12 fish. 6 Skippers and 6 Tanks! Bouncing spawn and float fishing with the Center Pin! Tights lines and GO BLUE???? Lets hope they win!
