Yes, I'm talking about the Carp. One of my favorite things to do is to take .99 cents and buy a can of corn. Go down to the river and catch some carp. Its so cheap and BIG FUN. I do like to fly fish for them as well. But this past weekend I was fishing with my nephew and only had just a few hours to fish.
Yes it's not a Steelhead from British Columbia or a Coastal Brook Trout. But boy they pull just as hard and is a riot. I hope everyone had a great weekend. And I would like to say thanks to all of veterans out there. Its because of you I can blog and speak freely and more importantly GO FISH. So we all need to say thanks for all you have done and remember our current men and women over seas serving.
I just got back from a fishing trip for Giant Northern Pike. Stay tuned for that trip it was a good one. I had not been to this camp in 14 years, boy was it a blast. So remember if you don't have allot time or money. Head on down to your local river and embrace the Golden Freight Train. You will be glad you did and don't forget the CORN..
I leave you with this today on Farming and from a WAR HERO:
Farming looks mighty easy when your plow is a pencil and you're thousands of miles from a corn field.
