MFFC Youth class outing

I would like to thank the Michigan Fly Fishing Club for the youth outing yesterday held at the Painted Trout in Dexter. My son and nephew took the class and had even won some awesome prizes, donated by Colton Bay Outfitters. The boys were treated to a light breakfast, followed by a slide show and class instruction, next they had lunch provided by Aubrees pizza of Dexter. After lunch, fly tying and casting instruction was on the list of things to do. By the way Dirk Fischbach was a wonderful casting instructor and worked well with the kids.

To wrap up the day the club allowed the youth to go across the street to the Trout farm and catch a few fish on the fly. This is a truly awesome experience for our youth. I would like to thank the Michigan Fly Fishing Club for putting on such a wonderful program. Mike Doyle and all the clubs members who volunteered there time. Colton Bay Outfitters, The Painted Trout for allowing us to host the event and Aubrees Pizza. If I forgot anyone else THANK YOU.
