As the hex hatch comes to an end that doesn't mean your night moves or fishing is over. When I say night moves we think of Bob Seger and his song but were talking Mousing! This has become a very popular tactic in and around the Midwest. I'm surprised at how many people were unaware that trout eat mice. More and more anglers are getting the bug. I mean mouse!
This weekend there will be many anglers gearing up and fishing well into the night for those big hungry trout. This post is dedicated to you and we wish you luck here at S & M. Nothing fancy or special about the technique just beat the banks and put your time in. You just might be rewarded with the biggest trout of your life. Be safe on the river and get it done this weekend, the night is yours!
