THE MOB AND FISHING?

What does the Mob and Fishing have in common?

Well that's easy Fishing is like the Mafia ... once you're in, you're in. There is a few similar codes us fisherman follow just like the mob. 

TOP TEN CODE OF ETHICS

1. Fishermen can keep a secret on a Fishing Spot. (Sometimes)Punishable by Death if violated.

2. Treat Fishing just like business. It's just business nothing personal.But I'm not telling you my fishing techniques or spots. 

 I don't care who you are?

3. Never look at a fishing buddies wife. (This should be rule #1)

4. Never fish with a COP.

5. Honor the Sport and the Fish.

6. Pride. Take pride in what you do and promote Conservation.

7. Loyalty. Be Loyal to your fishing buddies.

8. Tradition. Pass it on.

9. Obedience. Respect the Game and Fish Laws.

10.Never wear a Suit in Waders.

So you see the MOB is allot like fishing. 

Warmer weather is finally on its way. Time to enjoy life and its pleasures.

Greetings fellow METALHEADS:

Today's Alter Call is on our Kid's! Below you will find a photo that sums it up with this generation. Man I'm sounding old aren't I? 

Oh well get get over it its a FACT of life. You get old and then you die. So while were here lets make a difference. Believe me I have 2 kids of my own and they are slaves to the technology and the gaming.

But I try to keep a balance with that and include some outdoor fun with my kids. So there you have it, I'm not going to beat a dead horse. You will notice my blog doesn't ramble on forever. Whats the point people lose interest right? I'm short and sweet and to the point. Thanks again for your support we are coming up on our 1 year anniversary.

You know what is expected of you. Get up of your butt and take a kid fishing. Trust me we will make the world a better place.

Socialism and Fishing

Greetings my FISHY FRIENDS:

No worries I won't talk about the weather whats there to say!!!!!! IT SUCKS! I hit the Manistee River for one day and caught a nice fish. The Fly Fishing Expo Rocked last Saturday. Hopefully you made it out to the Show. I also got to meet some new friends and visited with some old ones. Can't wait till next year, I enjoy this show every year.

I'm fired up about my Country today. I think our economy is improving but it still sucks. We all still have to pay more and more taxes it seems like. 

I'm not very confident our Country is heading in the right direction at all. But hey who am I? I'm just a little guy with a Fishing Blog. 

Here is a great piece of advice:

A bum cannot be a bum without a sponsor! Maybe we all can go the socialism route and then GO FISH! I'm kidding but the thought has crossed my mind.
